Jennifer Steel

Former Jacobi Student

Jennifer worked as an undergraduate assistant in my lab from about 1993 to 1995. She left UIUC and went to Ingersol-Rand, where she began a brilliantly successful engineering career. Jennifer made tremendous contributions to our lab, helping to build our first calorimetric wind tunnel. When Jennifer worked in my group, I was an Assistant Professor, and she once asked me, “So, when will you become a real professor?” She is not shy!

Jennifer has a wonderful daughter, Morgan, shown with her mom in the photo.
